Me Myself and I

Personal Growth through Blogging - One Step at a Time

Things are Finally Looking Up

I was talking with my boyfriend just a little while ago, about how much I am enjoying writing my blogs and working the way I am at the moment. Strange and positive things are happening ever since I started this particular blog, only 3 weeks ago to the day.

Seeing that all the effort and time I am putting in is “working” for me gives me a lot of satisfaction and self-confidence. That feeling of satisfaction and self-confidence is making me feel a lot happier, and as a result, all the other projects I am involved in at the moment are starting to improve as well.

It proves to me that putting in good energy generates even more good energy and for once in my life, it feels like I am finally spiralling up, feeling good about every day life, appreciating everything around me a lot more.

There were times that I was going to give up, shove this whole idea of working at home to the side and take on any odd job I would encounter. Throwing in the towel, admitting that maybe this was not the way to go after all.

But now, things are starting to look completely different. Every single day I have run this blog, money has come in, one way or the other. No, I am not talking about the big bucks just yet, but little amounts for now. The odd tenner here, another fiver there, as well as the check I mentioned in an earlier post which was well over 110 euros, and today I have achieved another victory.

This “little” job which is only going to be 3 or 4 days work, is actually going to help me get through this month and part of next one. And if I plan things right and look at what I am spending I could even use part of it to start the new project I already posted on in January.

An odd job, related to what I love doing most (working online from home) and I really feel I got it because of the enthusiasm, energy and self-confidence I feel ever since I started writing Me Myself and I.

For that, I am grateful… grateful because doors are finally opening in a greater speed I could have hoped for. And I do contribute it to this blog in particular, for it is focussing my attention and getting me back on track.

Strange and wonderful, because that is not what I had expected to come out of this blog…

    I am glad that you are sticking it out and not throwing in the towel. It does take a ton of work to be your own boss but in the end it is worth it don’t you think?

    As far as your blog goes, I am sure you will continue to see the money earned climb as time goes on, just keep up the posts and what you have been doing and you will see great success.

    Best of luck and keep bloggin’

    @Phil
    I sure feel it is worth it, I much rather be able to follow my own workshedule and do my own thing than having to stick to somebody else´s rules and know that no matter how hard I work, most benefits will go to the boss.

    As far as this blog goes, I did not start it to become a “moneymaker” but the benefits I am getting out of it (the interaction and tips, the strength to not give up, self-confidence etc) sure is helping me improve on other blogs and projects.

    Thank you very much for taking the time to read me and comment, it is highly appreciated!

    Saludos
