Me Myself and I

Personal Growth through Blogging - One Step at a Time

Have you heard about Qassia yet?

I have been checking out this fairly new program for the last hour and it seems interesting, getting money, getting backlinks, getting your sites ranked through their system, but quite frankly, I still haven´t figured out exactly how it all works.

Is anybody using Qassia already? Any insights or opinions?

I did sign up to take my time and look around, and now I have found out that if others sign up through my link qassia I actually get a $ 500 Qassia

No idea what that means, do you?

    Hello Mirjam,

    Great blog you have here!

I signed up with Qassia a few weeks ago. Since it’s still in BETA, it’s hard to know how positive the results will be once it goes live, but I’m hopeful for some productive backlinks and more traffic to my blog. The Qassia dollars are not real currency, but the more you have will give you more backlinks and you’ll rank higher in the Qassia directory..or at least I think that’s how it works!

wow Julie, you are fast at commenting :)

thank you for the compliment, you´re making me blush…
So, did you get any positive outcome from your account yet? Have you noticed an increase in traffic? It looks like one can also add a google adsense account number to the Intel published on Qassia, have you gone as far as actually doing that?

I am a bit weary about giving them my account number just like that to be honest… any thoughts on that?

I too signed up. I click the signup from your page and not sure if you will get the credit.

Anyway, I think it’s like an article network which give you backlinks to your blog.

Well. My AdSense account has been banned a long time ago. I just want to see how the system work and see if that inspired me for something.

    @ Terence
great to see you around here again, I just checked and I got the credit, thank you for that! You are right, it does look like an article network with the added “advantage” that you can earn their Qassia dollars which in future you can exchange to buy advertisement …

I am interested to see your point of view on the system and hope it will inspire you ;)

I had a little look around and it seems like a good idea I’m just not sure if it’s kind of rival to Google Knoll that they might not like it. Much in the same way as Textlink adds cause bloggers to loose PR and Rankings in google I’m thinking this could go the same way.

    @Toon
interesting observation, although I don´t think it should cause any problems, since you don´t actually pay for the links, nor are you getting paid to put up links on your site, which is why many bloggers lost PR in the first place… :?:

Yeah I guess I’m just always a little cautious with anything that offers “free backlinks” although I’ve only heard positive comments about it so far.
