Do You Want to Make Money Writing, Yes or No?
This might seem like a really silly question to ask, seeing that the main focus of this article is the importance of keyword research, but the most important question of all you need to ask yourself is, whether or not you want to make money writing.
You can make money writing in different ways, you could of course work as a freelancer meaning that people give you specific topics, keywords and requirements and a deadline for you to finish the job. So if that is the case, you really don´t need to keep on readings since you won´t be doing any keyword research anyways.
Another way to make Money writing however, is to publish your own writing on a website or blog and monetize through any of the many options that are most suited in your situation. Keep in mind though that there are big differences between writing for afíliate marketing or content used to generate adsense clicks.
So, back to the initial question, do you want to make money writing?
If your answer is a dead honest YES,
go to The Keyword Academy without losing any time!
I think this is the basic question you need to ask yourself, because the answer to it will greatly influence the amount of time you need to put in, doing your research for the article you are about to write.
If your answer to this question is a straight forward no, you might as well skip the rest of this post and move on, if the answer is yes I am sure you will find some great help in the things and experiences I am about to share so stick with me.
There is another answer that I see popping up frequently though, that might be considered to be grey area and it is given by those people that feel that their writing should be more important than the money they make, so they answer:
“The quality of my writing is so important that I don´t care about keyword research, people will find me because my writing is good and I am a likeable sincere fellow, but it would be nice to get some extra cash, doing what I love.”
Ding-dong you are striked out for not being sincere to yourself!
You either DO write for the money, or you don´t.
If you say you don´t write for the money and thus you think you don´t need to care about keyword research (almost as an excuse not to do it), you should not have a single possible money maker link on your blog. You just write about what you like, whether people get to read it or not and that is the end of the story.
However, if you do want to get a bit of extra cash, why would you have to feel guilty about preparing yourself in such a way that people will actually get to find you through the search engines and not just some trickle traffic either, but actually a good visitor stream, looking for the exact information you are offering in your writing or through the advertisements on your blog.
To me it feels like people are actually ashamed to be wanting to earn money by writing blogs, or that it is just “not done” in the blogosphere or that making money with blogs is some sort of sin, ´cause it is supposed to be fun”.
Well guess what … I started off with this blog because I wanted a place to share my experiences and had already made up my mind to just write and see whatever, ending up in Google rankings for keywords that will never ever make me any money unless some company all of a sudden decides to pay $$$ per click on my first name.
However, ever since I joined The Keyword Academy, I have been able to actually set up little Niche blogs, based on very specific keywords that pay a few bucks per click and actually been able to plant them on page one from Google for those specific keywords within a matter of weeks, meaning that they are getting very targeted visitors and actually make money even without having touched most of them for months. They are there and every so often I might direct another link to them to make sure they don´t start dropping, or when I feel like it, I might add another post, but that is about it, while I continue working on other sites which are highly targeted.
So… Do YOU Really Want to Make Money Writing?
Get off your high horse then and stop nagging about wanting “to do the right thing” or “really wanting to offer a great service” and stop dreaming about becoming this famous Blogger with great writing skills!
If you really want to make money writing, you must truely understand the importance of Licking the right keywords. I´d go even further by saying that you must understand what a keyword really is. So far this article is made up of a little over 800 words, you could say that any and every Word in this article is actually a keyword, every combination of words is a longtail keyword.
Cause folks… a keyword is nothing more and nothing less that the stuff people put into a search engine to locate the information they are looking for. So why is it important to understand this? If you have a website/blog, chances are you are not spending all your time without wanting other people to see it, right?
Plus… if you have a blog about say, Randy Pausch, his Last Lecture (btw… if you need motivation, go find his video on youtube, it is life-changing!) and the importance of prioritizing important stuff in your life (like fun, time you spend with your family and enabling dreams) chances are that people looking for a place to walk their dog are not going to find what they are looking for on your site and they will soon hit the back button.
And whooheee even if you can say you had another visitor, that visitor in fact is worthless if they did not click the right botton that generates your money. Capish?!
Confession time… I have spent months if not years beating myself on the head going at it all wrong cause one part of me “wanted to do the right thing and not sell my soul to the devil”. I “wanted to make a difference” and only write about what I love and know about, because otherwise I felt I´d be cheating on my Readers and visitors. Yeah right … On some level I was even lying to myself cause hey, if I could stick to that level of personal values, I also had a great excuse for running a blog that really didn´t make any money. Duh!
So I got envolved in the blogosphere, had an awesome time linking to friends and chatting, commenting and socializing and meanwhile I was learning that all that so called activity was very lo won the productivity chart of actually making money online. Granted, I got to become a master in setting up new blogs, themes, plugins and the lot and that does help me nowadays when I actually do set up new blogs, but beside that it has pushed me to look into the mirror and face up to myself…
Never ever ever underestimate the power of keyword research and writing keyword focused articles. That does NOT equal bad writing or low quality sites, you can still be a great writer and put your passion into it, but make it a passion to actually see your adsense account growing, receiving affiliate program checks coming in, make it your passion to combine quality writing with making money, make it a passion to find lowcompetition keywords with high potential.
I never understood that last bit untill joining TKA to be honest. Yes, I heard some people talk about it, but it wasn´t untill I actually was given a fireproof way to check the Earning potential, that I was actually able to start building money making sites!
So in case you wonder why I haven´t been writing here a lot recently, now you know, I changed my tactics, started working the way is taught in TKA, and seeing those results, I just wasn´t inspired anymore to spend hours writing posts for this blog that generated zilch results.
From all my experience in The Keyword Academy, I could now easily write 5 posts a day for this blog, seeing the amount of information I am getting with my membership is of such high quality, people really need to find out about it if they are serious about making money.
But frankly, seeing that a month trial only costs $1, I think you should just go there and give it a try. You can always cancel before the month ends, you have all the control over your membership without having to contact anybody to cancel. Once the month is over, you´d be paying $33 a month but even it is was just the monthly webinar you´d get for that price, it would be greatly underpriced.
Where in this day and age do you get straight forward and life contact with people that earn thousand and thousands of dollars weekly if not daily, and actually get to pick their brain for the duration of the 2 hour webinar! How much is that be worth to you?
For those of you that feel that $1 is a “big risk”, this is what you are getting the moment you sign up:
- Access to the membership area and forum that is populated by some very experienced marketers, who participate and share their knowledge.
- Access to the TKA directory where you can obtain zillions of links to your websites, all keyword anchored and do-follow, so no lame links.
- Access to a wealth of webinars you can download, that each in themselves are worth more than the monthly membership.
- Free access to Connect Content (originally valued at $12 a month, for the time being only opened for TKA members), a fabulous place to Exchange links, some coming from PR4,5 and higher websites, that will hugely grow the PR of your sites and google rankings.
- A monthly webinar you can participate in and ask the real big earners direct questions.
- A blueprint to finding high Earning keywords, exact calculations to know the monthly earning potential, so you know ahead whether you are investing your time and effort wisely. Taking in account the competition and the relative ease to land your site with those keywords on the first page of Google. (that is where you want to be in order to make money!)
- TKA is growing and adding more and more features to the program continuosly so get in while you still can!
I just wish, sincerely wish, that all those people that keep giving others advice without making any real money online, would just shut up and sign up for the TKA and once they see the value of this place, recommend it to others. Because really, I myself have spent so much time, so much money and almost got knocked by the game of online money, almost threw in the towel, thinking it was just too hard. And I know that in this time of global economical crisis, so many people really need to know how to do it, yet get sucked in by scam products promising them online riches in a matter of weeks. While the solution really is right in front of them… The Keyword Academy rocks!
Because really … The Keyword Academy is on the move up and it won´t stop growing and become an even more impressive place filled with big money makers…
You want to learn to make money online writing?
Then you should only learn from the best, only learn from those people that are actually making tons of money and willingly share their knowledge, their blueprints and their exact ways that are guarantueed to make you money as well, as long as you are willing to follow their plan step by step and work at it.
And, as for my opinion… if you feel keyword research is not important, you might as well keep on blogging, but please, if you don´t make any bucks, don´t advice others how to write or research and less even, talk about how you think money is made on the Internet because you are not only fooling yourself, you are actually dragging whole herds of others with you down the drain!
Stop fooling people, stop giving advice about online money, just go to the TKA and you will see for yourself why I am so hyped up about this club, why I have been a member for months and why I am planning to stay there for the rest of it´s excistence.
