That’s absolutely awesome. This video says more than any amount of written pages could say. thanks for putting it up. If he can get up there’s no reason for anybody to stay down, ever. And that means literally or figuratively.

@Dennis I think it does… there are a few more videos on Nick Vujicic on youtube that are equally impressive and inspiring although some are a bit too religious for my atheist mind LOL, the message itself is very strong and especially in these days when many people get sucked into the negatives of “the economical crisis” we should start believing more in our own powers to change our lives and lead them the way we want.

I watched a couple and he does appear a bit spiritual, although I don’t think there would be too many Atheists without limbs, considering lol.

@ Dennis…. I said religious, .. not spiritual LOL and I gotta say, I don´t quite get your comment either …

Hi Dennis,
You are confusing me somewhat. To start with I don’t think there too many people with all limbs missing. I don’t see what being an atheist has to do with not missing all 4 limbs. Unless you mean that if an Atheist loses his limbs he’d become religious? If you’re a limbless Atheist you just would not have a God to blame it on, in my “not so humble” opinion.
Somehow you might have a point though. Apparently now times are pretty lean more people seem to attend churches. To me it shows the hypocritical overtone of some religious people. Don’t get me wrong…I’m not trying to criticize you. It just hit one of my “sore” spots.

@ Joyce – I didn’t mean to hit a sore spot, sorry about that. I was playing off an old military saying, “There’s no atheists in foxholes”, basically meaning people that normally wouldn’t turn to a higher power of some kind tend to when times are rough. Now whether that’s hypocritical or not is, I suppose, an individual feeling.
@ Mirjam – You’re right, they are two different things. I for one am somewhat spiritual yet not very religious.
My bad y’all

@Dennis, ok ok , thanks for explaining that … I´d better not get into discussion over this LOL, it would be a discussion without end
[Reply]
LOL yea I kinda broke a personal rule of my own. Never get into a political, religious or sexual discussion without plenty of alcohol and an “out” when necessary.

Hey Dennis,
Oh boy I just noticed I never answered your answer to my answer.LOL
This makes it look I was offended or something, which certainly is not the case.
You took my “sore spot” too seriously. Having spent a lot of my younger years in a Catholic boarding school “Religion” seem to be a sore spot with me. When I was in chool I had too many questions and no answers. Now, at the ripe age of 76 I think I’ve found my own answers.

LOL no worries, everyone is busy.
I may be able to relate if I read you right. Although I didn’t go to Catholic school for more then two months in 2nd grade (long story), I have been bombarded with it since before I could speak…my folks are “very Catholic”, being the best way to say it.

LOL Dennis.
Yes, You read me right. 2mths in a Catholic school in grade 2? And that’s a long story??
Can you imagine how long my story might be after getting my complete Education in Catholic schools?? I could write a volume for every year I was there.LOL. But I won’t bore people with that.
Yes, my parents were more Catholic than the pope. Nuns and priests all through the family. I guess I was the black sheep. LOL
And yes, this is enough about religion………………I don’t have any Caesars or “White Russians” handy.LOL
