Free Publicity

Ever since I started this blog, I have been thinking about whether I should “monetize” it or not. In the beginning I had adsense in the sidebar, but took it out because I did not like the look of it. And when changing the theme a few weeks ago, I did not put up any advertisement in the space dedicated to it, yet preferred showing my favorite flowers.

free publicityIt might be a lame design choice, poor business attitude or whatever you think of it, but this blog is becoming more and more of a sanctuary to me, my home, my personal spot on the Internet. It is my “gathering space” of ideas and thoughts that occur to me, and at present it is proving it´s value to me for being able to communicate with other bloggers and share opinions with them.

As this blog is “growing” daily, attracting more visitors, receiving more feedback and climbing the ranks at a steady pace, I thought it would be good though to offer the possibility to advertise in a very easy way, through the “Project Wonderful”. I am pretty sure you must have heard about it before, but if you haven´t yet, it is a very easy way to show up on different blogs all over the Internet.

So if you do like my blog, feel free to bid, it will be accepted automatically. However, I will take block advertisements I feel are inappropriate (adult, hateful, discriminative content and/or design that does not go will with mine).

Advertisement rates are decided by popularity and everybody can bid on the 125X125 banner space and at present, the price is only …. 0 cents! Go ahead and take advantage now, just click the “ads by Project Wonderful” and you are on your way!

  6. Hi Mirjam,

Well, I was up there for like three hours during the night, before I was outbid.

That’s what life’s like on project wonderful. I think I will offer an ad spot sometime when my traffic increases some more.

But, hey! At least now I can say I was your first!

    Cheers,
    Alex.
