If you want to meet the "Gordon Ramsey of Blogging" try Vic Franqui's Blogger Unleashed.

On Kitchen Nightmares (US version), I think the worst one was Sebastians where the owner faked homemade wood oven cooked pizza with frozen dough and cheap ingredients and had a terrible menu. He apparently went back to his old ways after the show and went out of business.

<em>Frank C's last blog post..<a href='http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/Optempo/~3/262834914/' rel="nofollow">Content Mangler Program Specs</a></em>

hey Jim, you are right about the artist part, however, ... the owner was not the chef... he was a guy with 500.000 debt, mortgages on his house, desperately looking for answers. He was the guy who asked Gordon to come in as a last desperate chance of saving his ass.

I don´t think it was just arrogance... it was the fear speaking, paralyzing fear, fear of losing it all, fear of having to admit all sorts of things, fear of having to face up.
Either way, I thought it was very interesting to watch and see the changes the guy went through...:D

Gordon Ramsay rules!

That's it, you are a genius.

How about a new review site: "Blogging Nightmares", where an a-list blogger (myself, or you) screams at people that are f***ing up their blog with nonsense, trying to make them be better bloggers?

Eurika!

Cheers,
Alex

Chefs are artists. The meals their art. Telling a chef his food sucks is like telling a blogger their blog sucks or telling a painter his paintings suck. There is a certain arrogance that goes with being an artist. The art an artist creates is personal and the artist has a intimate connection to his/her creations. I can understand the initial reactions of saying that some one critiquing their art has no f***ing clue what they are talking about. That's the artist talking. Artists are seldom rational when it comes to their creations. Gordon Ramsay has been doing this for so long that I can not deny he is an expert and knows exactly what he is talking about. He is an elite artist when it comes to being a chef but then again all artists consider themselves elite regardless of whether or not they actually are.
