Making Money with Infobarrel
If you are struggling to make a decent amount of money online with adsense, I´d highly recommend you read this entire post about making money with Infobarrel as I am sure anybody willing to put in some elbow grease is able to build up decent income online with Infobarrel.
As you may have seen in my last post on the missing link, I have signed up for The Keyword Academy a few weeks ago now and all I can say is that I am in awe. I have been a great fan of Courtney Tuttle ever since I first came across his blog and it was a natural thing to sign up for his keyword crash course, knowing that Court would do his atmost to provide his members with only the best quality information and support. More about this later though, since I want to tell you something about Infobarrel first.
At present Infobarrel is ranking a PR4 page rank but I am sure they will go up in the near future as this site is getting more and more buzz and fellow article marketers to sign up for their system. If you haven´t heard of Infobarrel yet, it is a website that focuses on offering people a platform to publish their unique articles.
The goal for you as a writer is basically two fold, you can publish your articles and get a link back to your site or whatever page you want to promote in your signature. So this is very similar to using EzineArticles for example or any other article marketing website that lets you publish your articles in return for a link to your site.
The other thing you can get out of Infobarrel is to actually make money, because every time you submit an article to Infobarrel you are entitled to 75% of all adsense and ebay impressions generated by your content. Plus, if you win any of the competitions they are having every month you can get that percentage up to a smashing 90% by submitting enough articles.
You might think now that you´d prefer to get 100% of your adsense earnings by publishing your content on your own websites, but have a think about this.
I for one always preferred having total control over the sites that contain my content, but there are a few sides to the story. First of all that I had to start all my sites from scratch, setting up the domain, setting up the themes and plugins (I am into building WP blogs as you migh now by now) and getting the sites to rank in order to get content. This can be a process that takes time, which is what puts off many people trying to make money online.
After all you can´t just say, hey let´s build a website and next week I´ll be rich!
However I have started to see the benefits of placing my content on other sites, like Squidoo, blogspots, EzineArticles and now Infobarrel.
While Squidoo and the One Week Marketing Plan are awesome to build little test sites and gain some authority you can later use to push your own sites up the google ranking, there is a little drawback for me personally.
First there was the problem of not being able to enter my account, then they came with the policy changes which in itself were good, but caused me to have a look at a lot of my lenses and having to move some of the content. The other part is about the adsense earnings you can make with Squidoo. Yes you can … but does it stand up in comparision to making 75-90% on your OWN content? If you are familiar with squidoo by now you will probably know about their payment system, you having to rank a certain level on Squidoo in order to get to a level that pays out a few bucks. So basically if you are using high paying keywords on your lenses you´d only get a very little share of all the adsense earnings and other people that use low paying keywords could earn more than you if their lens ranks higher… Is that the ideal situation?
Now, let´s go back to Infobarrel, giving you 75-90% of the adsense earnings on your own content. This means that if you know how to pick those keywords that have a higher earning potential you will be able to earn more with your content on Infobarrel than on most of the other sites. Throughout your content you are allowed to link to your other Infobarrel content pages (so you are effectively deeplinking to better rank your other content pages) PLUS you are allowed to link to your own sites and blogs, effectively creating backlinks to your own site portfolio, just like you would do with EzineArticles.
To me, that is what I call a win-win situation and when I first read about it, I thought, yeah right… But now that I have signed up for Infobarrel a few weeks ago and so far have been submitting a only few articles to them I am starting to see the potential, having received already a few good adsense clicks on my content even though I haven´t been promoting that content at all.
This is where The Keyword Academy comes in again, seeing that it has been teaching me how to actually assess the potential monthly earnings per keyword and how to gage the competition, thus allowing me to know whether it is worth going after a certain keyword or not.
So here I am, writing this post at 9 am contemplating whether I should challenge myself to get a 100 Infobarrel articles of 400-800 words up and running within 30 days, knowing that this month is going to be hell workwise and not sure if I will be able to get a lot of work done this month. (Having friends and loved ones over is great but not very good for business LOL).
Anyways, instead of making excuses as to why not to write as many Infobarrel articles as possible, I better get to work and write as many as possible. I will keep you guys updated on this project and I´d be more than happy to hear if any of you is going down this road of writing articles for money as well!
A last note, I will be following this project as a case study so make sure you follow it if you are interested in making money with Infobarrel!

You are so right….as usual
I signed up for Infobarrel and will start getting some articles on there. And you’re right about TKA also. TKA and Infobarrel can work together very well and people can make a decent amount of money that way, and be able to put that money into their business.
Keep the posts coming!

hey Joyce!
“some article” won´t get you there … try to aim for 100 articles at least to start off with before deciding to go through with it. All I can say is that I see real potential there in term of making money with the side itself, comparing to the revenue sharing on other websites, Infobarrel certainly takes the lead!

And here I was, thinking I was an article writing machine! As usual, I’ll be tracking your progress, Mirjam.

hey Mitch! I am far from being an article writing machine LOL I wish I were, which is why I am challenging myself to get these 100 Infobarrel articles up as quickly as I can but truthfully I don´t see it happening in a month, seeing these coming 3 weeks I will be having friends over and boy oh boy … the beach is calling me!

You can have the beach then; I’ll take being inside and cool any day of the week.
Well, good luck with all your articles anyway.

yeah… if only it were cool inside, but at 35-40 degrees celsius daily, no airconditioning and warm winds I can just say, beach here I come
)
Infobarrel sounds pretty good, a little bit like Squidoo, just a better advantage as far as the percentage and payout. I’ve been doing Squidoo lately, even though im having some problems writing articles (major writer’s block) I am submitting articles so hopefully i can get it running to a good potential.
i’ll check out Infobarrel tonight and see whatsup.!
thanks for the review and recommendation Mirjam!

hey Pheak
(wow… that was blatant ROFL)
I really think Infobarrel is worth checking out and hey, if you´re gonna do it because of my recommendation, please be so kind to go through my link
I do understand the writer´s blog… boy do I understand …. maybe you should challenge yourself and get a set amount of them up in a certain time frame or like do at least 1 a day or whatever you feel comfortable with. You don´t need to write a book but make sure the content you do submit is of good quality …. 450-700 ish words or something.
Look at it from the positive side though… no modules you need to add or anything fancy like that … “just” writing ROFL
Good luck to you!
