Great List! Made quite a few of those mistakes myself

I can’t talk about all of them (too many!), but one that’s on my mind at the moment is:

42. Not using the signature feature in forums.

I’ve only recently gotten involved in forums and love them (but spend too much time there). I agree you have to add your blogs to your signature so people can check them out – but also, many forums have dofollow signatures. So not only will you get more visitors, you’ll get more backlinks and PageRank boost… And if you’re using forums related to your blog’s topics, it should help increase your authority on that topic (in Google’s eyes), improving your ranking in the SERPs.

So forums can be very useful.
