Last week I told you guys about this new social bookmarking site called RedGage and the contest they were running. Sad thing was that their contest only lasted till the 4th of July, but when I checked in on my RedGage account this morning I was pleasantly surprised, seeing they were running a new contest for the whole month of July with even better prizes!

This whole month of July they are running a daily, weekly and monthly raffle and the prizes are pretty cool, $50 daily, $150 weekly and a smashing $400 prize at the end of the month!

Yep, that is cold hard cash that will be sent to you on a Redgage Visa debit card so that you can withdraw it everywhere around the world!

Now when I first posted about Redgage I had only been a member for a bit and didn´t quite now yet what all the features were, but after having spent a bit more time on the site, the real value is starting to hit home. Sure, the contest is great if you do get to win some cash, but apart from that, you can submit all your own content (thus creating backlinks to your site!) and the more that content get´s read by the other Redgage members, the more money you will make, seeing that Redgage actually pays you per content view as well and if you are lucky you can even get awarded with an extra $$$ bonus!

Now I don´t really feel it is about luck, but about submitting good content and links, so the better the content on the links you submit, the more chance you will get rewarded that bonus.

What I find so cool about this site though is that they actually want you to submit your own content and links, instead of the other social bookmarking sites that frown upon you submitting your own.

So how does the contest work?

Seeing that RedGage is still pretty new, it seems like they want to encourage their members to participate on the site and in order to stimulate that participation, you can get raffle tickets for most actions you take on the site. All these raffle tickets are put together at the end of the day and the above mentioned prizes are then awarded to the lucky members randomly.

So here is the layout for getting those raffle tickets:

* 1 Point is awarded for each Page View your content receives
* 2 Points are awarded for Rating someone’s content
* 7 Points are awarded for Commenting on someone’s content
* 35 Points are awarded for the First Comment on a content page
* 100 Points are awarded for Mentioning RedGage1 on other websites
* 200 Points are awarded for inviting a new user to RedGage

Remember, you still have till the end of July to win the $400 Visa Debit card, but even if you don´t win, you can make quite a few bucks promoting your OWN links!
