Taking the 30 day blogging challenge

Ever since I started with this blog, I feel like something has shifted in my intentions to do well. Ok, got to admit it hasn’t even been a week yet and I still have to fight poor statistics on starting blogs, but … I truly want to keep this one going for a long time.

Part of becoming better at blogging is reading others, at least that is what I believe to be important, reading others, getting in touch and learn, never stop learning. Maybe I should have been in bed by now, it is 0.30AM as I write this, but I have been busy reading blogs and more blogs, some really great ones have been added to my blogroll just now.

One blog that caught my attention is Alan’s blog (maybe I am being too familiar in my way of addressing him, as if we have been friends for ever!), but like I said, his blog caught my attention, especially a post of December 17 last year…

Copying and pasting part of it:

“So I’m challenging you right now to make a commitment to blog every day, no matter what it takes, for 30 days straight. If for some reason you will be out of town or simply must skip a few days because you won’t have access to a computer, you can always take a day or two and write several blog posts and then timestamp (Worpress users) them to go out on a daily basis.

Now, I’m not going to let you off so easy by ending the post here. I’m challenging you not to be a sissy blogger here. Leave a comment below and let the world know that you are up for the 30 day challenge and you will absolutely commit to posting every day for 30 days straight. Sure, you can say you are going to do it and have the best of intentions, but by telling the world and letting other bloggers hold you accountable because of your commitment you are buying into the deal just a little deeper.”

So, I am going to accept Alan’s challenge on his blog Affiliate Confession and blog for 30 days straight! And I want to take it a step further… not only will I make 1 post a day for 30 days straight, I will also comment on 5 different blogs each day, trying to get to know more bloggers.

Alan, thank you for your post and for either making me post for 30 days straight or making a complete public sissybloggerloser out of myself if I don’t :)

I found your post after reading Alan’s blog on his 30 day challenge. I just started blogging myself and I think I will join you with this 30 day challenge. The idea of posting on 5 blogs each day is a great idea. You don’t mind if I do the same, do you?
