The Biggest Mistake I Made After Reading the SAH
After reading my last posts you might think to yourself, “so Mirjam, would you kindly explain why you aren’t cashing in all those thousand $$$ checks yourself?” and all I can say is that you are completely right asking me that question.
You see, at the time when I first read the SAH my first stage was being completely overwhelmed with all this new information. I skipped through the manual quickly and then went back to really read it.
Now, if I had taken my own advice and would have completely disconnected my Internet connection at that point and actually follow through with all the advice and the sound plan of action given in the SAH I am sure I would be well ahead of where I find myself at this point.
But I was so overwhelmed and excited that I wanted to learn more, know more about this Internet marketing business I had found out about and spent a lot of money and time looking for more. More information, more possibilities, more opportunities and sadly enough, spending a lot of time looking for shortcuts to become rich.
New ideas started popping up in my head and little seeds of hope were planted in my brain that there were ways to get around the hard work it takes to set up a real business. I bought into the belief that you really did not have to work hard to make your way to the top and I was headed the way thread by so many others who were failing online.
I believe though that there is one big thing that sets me apart from all those people who have already given up on Internet Marketing.
I am still here
I still believe this is the most incredible way to make money
I still believe I can and will succeed
I still have the power in me to fight my way to a steady and generous income
There are many programs I have since tried and many books I have read. Many bloggers that have put me back on my way over and over again. I have learned a lot about SEO, business opportunities, setting up websites, writing content, distributing articles, building links, plugins that make life a little bit easier and I have tried, tested (and failed at) many business opportunities.
I have been through many ups and downs, at times having to choose between grocery shopping and buying a new domain name or investing in another way in my business. There have been months that absolutely no money was coming in and I had to live on rice and frozen veggies left behind in the freezer, but I never gave up. By the way, if you are looking for great healthy $1 meals, just let me know, I have since become the master of cheap healthy meals!
I have had many discussions with my friends, them saying I should quit this online stuff and get a job even if it were becoming a dishwasher to get money in and be able to have a life with some joy.
But, I also found a lot of support in my boyfriend who never stopped standing by me, believing in me and listening to my plans and thoughts, comforting me when times were rough. A lot of support and votes of confidence by some of my online readers on this blog, who would put up encouraging comments on their blogs linking to mine, or contacting me in private to help me out. A big thanks to those special persons, you know who you are
I won a few online prizes and even though they were only “small”, to me they were huge busts of energy and encouragement. One of the prizes I won a few months ago was the “Manifest a Miracle” system by Gary Evans. The funny thing about winning this system is that I actually enrolled in a contest with a huge amount of prizes with one thing on my mind, wanting to win that particular system. I had a good laugh about it when I was notified to have actually won it and it showed me something really important, even before starting to work with that system.
If you really believe in something, if you really have your mind set on accomplishing something, at one point or another YOU WILL SUCCEED.
So that is my message for you today.
YOU WILL SUCCEED
I feel it is important to add though that you shouldn’t just think it would come to you without having to do anything about it. You must set up a plan and find out what it really is you want, be specific about it, analyze it and then set up a step-by-step plan to get exactly that in your life.
So for me that means focusing even more on what it is I need to do and actually do it. Without getting sidetracked, without getting lost in cyberspace and without becoming distracted by all those different money making schemes available to the hungry surfer looking for riches.
It means working out my business plan, working towards my future together with the person I love most in life. It also means outsourcing things I really don’t like doing, it means finding balance between my online time and the world outside. And most of all it means getting to work in a productive way.
I will be back, posting on stuff that is working for me, but also writing about my biggest mistakes and even though that will publicly humiliate me, I hope that somewhere down the line I will be able to help out somebody else who has been in the same position I was.
Talk to you soon, I am now going back to some of the videos in the MaM system, find my inspiration again and go back to work creating my own miracle!

Never tell your friends what you’re doing online - that’s a rule I’m living by.
They don’t know anything about IM and the only thing the can do for me is to talk me out of it, or, get jealous and jinx all of my efforts. I don’t care for both.
So, usually when there’s a conversation going on about what everyone’s up to, I keep my mouth shut.

It’s good to have someone stand beside you.
Giving up is the first sign of failure.
I am interested in the $1 healthy meal. Very interesting. Tell me more!

Hi Terence
I am noticing more and more just how important that special person is, standing by me and supporting me, believing in me …
the $1 healthy meals … well… basically they are pretty easy … buy in bulk, prepare in bulk, use frozen veggies, cut down on meats, grow your own sort of recipes, like for example I make a killer veggie soup that doubles as meal soup & spaghetti sauce, prepare around 5-6 liters and freeze in portions, loaded with veggies and cost around portion $0.70.
Trick is to use bulk and in season veggies and use your imagination… oooh and you have to be a veggie freak like me

I agree with Alex - people think you are weird to try and make money online but little do they know it can be lucrative!
