If you have come to blogging, thinking it will make you big money and you are dreaming of that huge mansion, that really fantastic car and sitting on the beach while your blog generates your income automatically, I am sure you will find out at one point or another that it is just isn´t all that easy.

Many people give up after a while, dissappointed with their results. Some have only spent a lot of time with little investment, others actually have invested big bucks in all sorts of “money making programs” and crappy ebooks which supposedly are written to teach you how to make money online but the real purpose of many of these books is not how to teach you to make money, but to make money for the author of the ebook.

Some people however will see the light and weed through the pile of crap found all around the internet. Some people will just change their methods accordingly.

Only a few will take action and stand out in the crowd, not allowing more crap to be sent out and this post is dedicated to a few of them as a little thank you for all that they do for all those struggling bloggers out there.

I have said it in my blog a few times before and today I will say it again, I am absolutely amazed by the high number of RSS readers some “MMO” bloggers have without actually sharing their real techniques while other bloggers who are actually offering a huge base of really helpful, high quality information for free, “only” have a few thousand readers.

I have thought about this a lot recently, especially since I am finally starting to see through all the marketing techniques some folks use in order to get richer themselves eventhough they have it look like they want their readers to become richer.
3 Months ago I came across this really fantastic blog, Internet Marketing School by Courtney Tuttle. I was hooked the moment I started reading the first post I found and have ever since kept on reading and digging through the archives. In my opinion, Court is one of the few guys who is really trying to help other bloggers making the best of their blogging experience, offering sound advice on SEO and Internet Marketing, without using any of the hyped up and overused techniques you can see nowadays in the MMO blogosphere.

When I first started reading his blog, he was around 2000 subscribers, something that did not make sense to me at all, but fortunately he is rapidly climbing. His post on whether selling ads is evil or not is well worth reading, very interesting to see all the different points of views in the comment section as well.

It was his article that lead me to writing this post, especially a part which I am quoting here: “I have seen that put a strain on him – in reality it costs Vic money to teach people because it takes away from his time to work on other projects, not to mention the fact that he is creating more competition for his other sites.”

Now, the guy he is referring to is Vic Franqui from BloggerUnleashed.com and it completely represents a thought I have every time I watch any of his videos. If you are not familiar with the BU blog and are struggling to make money online, I would certainly recommend you to go to his blog and watch his videos.

This guy is very passionate about helping other people to make money. His videos are wake-up calls on their own, or specificly show you how to do certain things. And eventhough some posts go well over hundreds of comments, he actually takes the time and makes the effort to respond to every single one, picking out the best comments in his comment videos to highlight important issues.

He is not selling ebooks or trying to have you buy crappy products he never used before. He is not a follower. He is not a copycat. He might seem a bit rough around the edges, swearing a lot on his videos, but he sure does get your attention! He has been critiqued many times on his grammar and writing abilities, and of course because he puts a lot of high profile bloggers on the spot, calling out scammers where he sees on.

His actual content on how to make money though does not get any bad critique at all and there is a reason for that. This guy knows what he is talking about, is sharing it freely and spending a lot of time really helping bloggers in need, trying to get cash in their pockets as soon as possible.
I can´t even count the lightbulb moments he has caused me to have on two hands, making me think about longstanding ideas I had and telling it like it is. He calls for action and says many of us just overthink things too much and thus not get to the point to actually DO IT, and I think that rings a bell to many of the strugglers out there.
On his About page he says “This made me think how many more bloggers where struggling to make one dollar in blogging and reading the supposed A-list bloggers and following there self serving bullshit would have no opportunity what so ever to be successful in making blogging a viable business for them.”

Dead right there, Vic!

Word is out he will cut down on posting frequency around September, but I am sure by that time he has helped so many bloggers who will want to pay it forwards and start helping others in the same way he is doing right now.

You can already see that happening all around blogosphere and I will be sure to pay back my debts to him one way or another.
Now the last guy I want to mention is Griz and I must admit to have been a bit of a Wordpress Snobby Princess and initially did not pay a lot of attion to his free blog hosted on blogspot. My loss but I have grown wiser since. But the more I started reading Court and Vic, the more I started reading his blog aswell and the more I read it, the more I realize that this guy knows what he is talking about and actually shares some pretty darn valuable information free for the grab.

If you are looking to make money with adsense, pay a lot of attention to his sidebar where you can find 5 lessons on adsense and a real testcase to see how it is really done. There you have it, valuable knowledge for free PLUS the proof to back it up.

If you are still falling for hyped up products and supposed to be A-list blogs in the MMO circle, read his post about How to Game your Stats and if you still don´t see the light, prefering to copy people you really should not spend your time on, it´s your own decision.

However, if you pay close attention to all that Griz is writing in that particular post (and the rest of his blog for that matter), you will soon be able to start seeing the underlying reasons and intentions some MMO bloggers have. Be warned … the sight can be pretty ugly.

Quoting Griz´ tagline says it all: “Don’t let the stunning graphics and good looks of this blog fool ya’… if you want to know how to make money online… for free… without all the crap… do yourself a favor… get a cup of coffee and do a little reading… Griz”

So there you have it, The Golden Triangle of Great Guys who really help Struggling Bloggers. You might agree with me, or think I am full of crap and suffering from blurred vision.

Think about this though:

Any time any of these three fellows critique methods, products or bloggers, they have the knowledge and proof to back it up. They actually teach methods without the hyped up, selfish crap you can see anywhere in the blogosphere and they do it for free.

So if you are serious about making it online, you should really visit and read these blogs if you haven´t already:

Courtney Tuttle´s Internet Marketing School

Vic Franqui´s Blogger Unleashed

Griz´s Make Money for Beginners

Guys… if you happen to read this, thank you so much for all your hard work!
